A neat and tidy creeper list, for all those looking for some Worldly November darkness.
1. CHELSEA WOLFE'S ABYSS ALBUM
Eerie, haunting, and dark just how we like it. We loved her acoustic album released in 2012, however we think this album may be taking the cake for 2015. If you have not been to a show, be prepared for something exquisite and moody.
2. CREEPY CANDLES BY BURKE & HARE CO.
This is great because it can look like Halloween ALL YEAR LONG. They have candles with scents called: Burned at the Stake which smells of burning leaves, pine, clove and bonfire, along with Tomb Sweet Tomb, and Necronomicon.
3. INSTAGRAM USER MISTER_CAITLIN
A fun follow! Although I am a hater on crafting, I do know that a lot of ladies love this. So I found the amazing art of Caitlin to be a good balance. Caitlin creates bone tissue-like skeletal remains using cotton strings and glue.
4. HAUNTED SCOTTISH CEMETERY
CGT SOCIETY Editor, Mrs. Mindy, has what you would call a Grave-Dar, which she puts to good use at the most haunted cemetery of all time, Greyfriars Church Kirkyard and cemetery in Scotland. Crazy fact, it has the most reports, for paranormal activity. People have reported leaving the cemetery bruised, scratched and even gouged with unknown objects.
5. LORE PODCAST
If you commute to work, this is for you. LORE podcast can be a bit hard to get into since I find the reader, Aaron Mahnke, and his music choices, to be a bit odd and out of place, however that may seem to parallel the listener? After all we do enjoy a good corpse tale and discussion regarding premature burials, on the way into the office. Weirdos for sure. Check out my favorite episode: Broken Fingernails.
6. LONDON JEWELRY DESIGNER: CREATURE CREATURE
Worth an instagram follow and a purchase! This is the BEST creeper on earth. Her recent creation was a "Unicorn Feotus", which will come to you perfectly preserved inside a little jar. One item that I love, and that I actually own, is a mini graveyard necklace. She also makes the tombstones seasonally appropriate using decor for fall leaves, twigs or snow.
7. TATTOO ARTIST PIERRE PERICHAUD
This French artist does tattoos, music, artwork, and pen and ink illustrations in Strasbourg. I am not joking when I say that I may take a flight to France, just to get inked. His beautiful black lined illustrations bring nature back to life on skin, in an eerie stylized way.
8. BLEKK METAL
Things I enjoy under one roof: Black Metal, tattoos, and Bergen, Norway. This is a non-profit event, and all the proceeds go back to the musicians. There will be 19 tattoo artists from around the world, and 11 bands, including Takke and Enslaved. They will be swapping services and fans who show up may have the opportunity to get inked! Warning: only 500 tickets!
9. TOP CGT SOCIETY MEMBER THIS MONTH: BENANDONLYBEN
We have been following Ben, a vegan, Atheist, and metalhead all over London! His images are insane. Follow his shenanigans while he travels to a hangman's noose on the Thames River, The Museum of Zoology with pickled brains, and the Clink Prison Museum!
10. CREEPY GIRL TRAVELS TRIVIA!
Our very own JR Pepper is hosting a Creepy Girl Travels, Horror Show at Freddy's Bar in New York! She is not only an amazing Editor and writer for Creepy Girl Travels, she is a spirit photographer and guest speaker. It begins November 19th at 7:30pm! WEBSITE
