CREEPY GIRL TRAVELS: TRAVEL WITH A TWIST OF CREEP

I had my talented friends at Fortifem make a custom poster for a B-day present, last minute. In total panic I called Erik at Steady Print Shop Co., and he was able to accommodate me. He was a really nice guy and let me browse the shop and take pictures when I came to pick up my piece. He also fixes vintage motorcycles and does illustration, while living above his Northeast shop with his wife and cat.

I want to highlight and support local designers and studio artists that are doing what they love with an alternative angle. Motorcycles with printing is a new one for me, now I want a vintage motorcycle (I would probably die in one minute).

As I was walking around the shop Erik told me about his career path and how he created Steady Print Co. with his wife. The design of the shop was a beautiful well crafted "mess", everything had a place. Sprinkled through out were subtle vignettes of quirky odd details such as taxidermy, rusty gears, and books on Egyptian art.
